Technical Approach

Biorg’s Lung Chip features fully differentiated lung epithelium as shown by the presence of ciliated cells (AcTub), mucin-secreting goblet cells (PAS, MUC5AC, SCGB1A1), and basal epithelial cells (CK5). The lung chip has been successfully applied in toxicology applications.

Intended Applications

Lung Chip is intended for acute and sub-chronic toxicity and mechanistic studies. It offers more comprehensive endpoints than standard 2D primary lung epithelial culture.
